What is Meta Ad Library?
The Meta Ad Library is Meta's free, public archive of advertising on Facebook, Instagram and its other apps. Anyone can search it by advertiser or keyword. For every active ad it shows the creative, the Page that ran it, the start date and the platforms. It shows no spend, reach or results for ordinary commercial ads, and those ads leave the library when they stop running.
Two groups of ads carry more data. Ads about social issues, elections or politics show ranges for spend and impressions and stay for seven years. Ads delivered in the EU or UK show the advertiser's targeting choices and reach and stay for one year after their last impression, in line with the EU Digital Services Act.
